Silent Auction – Coming Soon
Every year, the senior class holds a silent auction as the primary source of fundraising for graduation festivities. The auction will be a virtual, eBay-style event this year, and we are excited to share with you over 200 amazing offerings. The auction is open to everyone – invite your family and friends! Help us give the Class of 2024 an outstanding graduation experience!
Bidding begins Friday, March 15th at 6 pm – Bidding ends Sunday, March 17th at 8 pm
Steps to take:
1) If you have not done so already, create a MemberHub account in advance. This will allow you to act quickly on Buy Now items and overall bidding.
2) Preview the auction (coming soon!) and PREPARE your bids.
3) BID on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
Silent Auction Preview
Thanks to the generous support of local businesses and Marshall families, there are many amazing items and experiences available for bid, including:
- Box Seats at Graduation + 5 Extra Seats
- Dinner and Wine Pairing for Two at 2941 Restaurant
- Marshall Parking Passes for Incoming Juniors
- Wolftrap Picnic Basket with Four Lawn Tickets to James Taylor and Two Bottles of Wine
- “A Day at the Races” – Race Tickets, Tour, and Lunch for Four at Maryland Jockey Club’s Laurel Racetrack
How the Auction Works
- The Auction will operate like an eBay Auction, and participants will get notices when they’ve been outbid.
- There will also be “Buy Now” options on some items being auctioned. This allows you to purchase an item for a set price instead of having to bid.
- Auction items are organized in a Category order. Items can be viewed all together in this Category order, or they can be viewed in their separate Category group by selecting a specific Category in the far right selection window.
- The Search Window can be used only for searching for a particular word in an Auction item Title.
- When viewing Auction items, the display area loads a few Auction items at a time. When you reach the bottom of the Auction item display area, click on the “View More” button to load more of the Auction items in the group.
- Auction items that include alcohol will only be sold to purchasers who are at least 21 years of age.
- When the Auction closes, participants will be notified by email as to whether or not they have won any items that they have bid on.
- Auction item winners can pick up the items they have won at a date and time that will be announced. Items will be made available for local pickup. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship items.
